A new trimmed down, energetic grandmother!

At 56 years of age Sarah had unfortunately regained all the weight she had lost from a dieting attempt in her distant past. At 13 stone 8lbs she could barely reach her toes and her lack of mobility was causing her to lose out on valuable time with her grandchildren. On a friends recommendation she signed up to our online dieting site and 7 months later she has reached 10 stone 8 lbs, losing a grand total of 3 stone on our Gi plan.


Here is Sarah's story...


What weight were you before you joined us, and what is your current weight? I started at 13 stone 8 lbs with a BMI of 32. I am now 10 stone 8 lbs pounds with a healthy BMI of 25 and I have another 6lbs to lose.


Have you lost any inches?
I have lost 5 inches off my bust, 8 inches off my waist, 9 inches off my hips, 4 inches off my biceps, 5 inches off my thigh and 3 ½ inches off my calf.


What made you decide to join us?
A friend recommended you as she had lost over a stone with your diet plans. Once I joined I was invited to go to a Buckingham Palace Garden Party which kept the momentum going.


Was your weight causing you any problems?
Bending down was very difficult and painting my toenails was a nightmare! I was limited in what I could do with my granddaughters and I hated the baggy clothes I was forced to wear.


What difference has losing weight made to you?
I have a general feeling of well-being and a renewed interest in clothes! I can now enjoy running around with my granddaughters.


Have you enjoyed your diet plan?
I loved the GI plan. I found the meal plans and recipes great as they are easy, tasty and freeze well. They will be part of my weekly menu for a long time to come. Knowing the support was there if and when I needed was also a fantastic help.


Tell us about your diet before you joined us?
I ate too much chocolate, biscuits and cheese. In fact, in general I ate too much.


How have your family and friends reacted to your weight loss? My family is delighted for me and a lot of my friends have signed up to your online dieting site after my recommendations.


How do you feel about your weight loss? I feel pleased to have lost some weight every week which I have NEVER done when losing weight before. I will not be returning to my bad eating habits!


Do you feel confident about maintaining your weight loss?
I do! I have got rid of all my LARGE clothes and am NOT buying big again.


Any other tips for fellow dieters out there?
Shop, cook and plan ahead to avoid grabbing easy high-calorie foods as snacks.
